if you fill it to much it will basically fuck it. its just as bad as not having enough oil in it. for one the seals will have extra stress, the synchros, and dog teeth will be harder to engage, and can even cause overheating problems. as for filling it in the gearstick hole that is bad. the gearstick is in a seperate area , the extension housing and if the oil manages to find its way to the bottom it all wont go in the area you want it. i would not fill a gearbox unless u can get both plugs out, try a rattle gun, dangerous but it works every time just dont strip it Confused
