LOL if it was only that easy. My friend imported a Supra about a month ago, which came with engine work already done: bigger turbos, intercooler, exhaust, boost controller etc. But the whole fuel system had been returned to stock! We couldnt figure out why. Out of all the things to take from that particular engine, why bother with the fuel system? But similar story about a year ago, the same friend imported an R32 GTR which came with dyno figures of 740ps. Once it got here, if the car ever actually ran, it ran like crap. Checked out everything in the engine. Stroked to 2.8, Single BIG turbo, intercooler, boosted, and anything else you could imagine (the car was apparently an ex demo car for a workshop in Japan) By now he suspected internal damage because everyhing else looked fine. But when checking the computer, it had been replaced with a stock factory item. Not even re written! Again out of all the things to take from this car (like the whole engine itself!!!) why just the computer??? Oh well, anyways that supra is where the injectors are coming from.
By the way after a few months of fixing the skyline and putting a new computer in (and thrashing it!), he sold it to some guy (Cheap! like 35 odd grand) About 2 weeks later the guy returned with some sort of engine problem. Seems like he decided it still wasn't fast enough, fiddled with the boost controller and took it on the track on normal unleaded and melted some pistons.
