The bast part in case you didn't notice and read about the car they campaign is that it is a Toyota Sprinter Yep out with ye old shitbox 4AGE and in with the superior pushrod 3-T
Ahh I just love it !
Oh and did you read the specs ?
Our car of choice is a 1987 Toyota Corolla. Equipped with a Toyota 1.8cc 3TC motor which is turbocharged by a T series unit. Nitrous is handled by a Nitrous Express four fogger setup. The final component in the intake equation is the fuel injection setup. Thats correct, I said "fuel injection". The 3TC motor never came to the U.S. fuel injected. So we had Jackson Auto Machine design us a manifold and had Hogans make it for us. We then turned to Extreme Motorsports for a Haltech E6K unit and some serious dyno tuning. Power is sent back via a Clutch Masters multi disc clutch and aluminum flywheel to a G-Force clutchless 5 speed tranny. A Ford 9" rear is on standby to accept the power and sends it on its way to a set of GoodYear 29X12X15 Slicks. In the past, a similar setup neted us horse power ratings in the mid five hundred and mid nine second times. With all of the before mentioned improvements, we expect horse power ratings in the high six to low seven hundred range and consistant mid eight second passes.
God I love a shit stir
