coronamark2 Forums Junkie Location: Perth Registered: May 2003	Re: Wet weather stories Tue, 20 May 2003 09:07 well i have a wet weather story its not in a toyota but its still good, It was in my brothers gemini i was supposed to pic him up in it when he went clubin one night the car wouldnt start when i put petrol in it at the servo so he ended up comin there 2hrs later very drunk, me & one of his friends pushed it to bump start it, he was steering so we got it goin & both jump in the back (there was crp in the front) the servo is on a long flat road so he was hammerin down there turned right in to a corner at like 70kays it hung so his mates saying GO IT GO IT (go faster) so he kept his foot down valve bouncin the thing slams fourth (at this point were going about a 110) the road leads to a round about with a nice big tree in the middle with a wall around it with no break what so ever he tries to go strait through (at this point being the only strait one im going Oiiiii stop) we bounced off the round about kerb the car goes well out of shape plows on to some grass hangs out to the left shoots accros the road on to some guys front lawn hangs to the right gets a bit of traction on the driveway then BANG - BANG the front smashed in to a tree as the car was sideways the side slapped in to a wall right on the corner of it, the rim luckily took the brunt of the wall it crushed the side of the car in just about popped the dif out the side he instantly said RUN we all tried to open the doors - no go the hole car was buckled we crawled out of the smashed windows the guy whose house we nearly hit was standing there he said dont bother we were all in a daze from the imapct i smashed my face on the head rest and bust my nose the driver my brother had a lump the size of an orange on his head where he hit the A pillar and his mate had a nasty bruse on his leg where the car crushed in at the side. We were very lucky, none of use were wearing seatbelts if the rim hadnt hit the wall and it hit say the middle of the back door it wouldve ripped tha car in half. We were all of 2 minutes away from my house. He didnt get done for dd when the cops rocked up he was sobber. Let that be a lesson to you NEVER try to take a round about doing a 100kmh in a gemi.
