I tried wiring up the loom myself, without success. So BansheeBuzz suplied me with a full uncut loom from a corona with and eary 22RE in it. It turns out my loom was fine. I was using a coil and ignitor from a 21RE that didn't have a ballist resistor like to old one that was on the 18rc. I just put all the positives together and negatives together and thought that would work. not so. I ended up getting an ignitor from an old 5me as i know Norbie uses that one. It has a ballist resistor and when I wired that all up correctly the injectors started to pulse. So all I meant was for the ease of thing using a uncut loom is easy as piss, just connect the ECU plugs up to the right wires and then the rest is self explainitory. just plug the same colour plug into the same colour sensor or injector. leave the rest that of the plugs that you don't need a lone. Simply On another side note as Norbie said you can use the 22re gear and with a little tinkering can get it to work. At the moment i am using the AFM from a 2se camry. It still needs a slight tune throught the spring tension but on the negative it doesn't allow for the idle mixture to be adjusted. Its been blocked off. So I am swapping it this arvo for an 18rgeu one that I have. [Updated on: Tue, 20 May 2003 22:59] [Report message to a moderator]
