try hooking it up on a bench using an old computer power supply. that way you can rule the wiring out of the equation. try hooking up each head unit directly to speakers, and then try with the amp.... make sure each component works by itself before combining them... you could use a line level out from a stereo or walkman type thing straight into the amp to check it...
go thru it systematically and you find if it works or not..
