300 hp at the crank or at the wheels? It should be good for 300 at the wheels. You would definately want to be looking at upgrading after that point.
Red2Door: I've not gotten the tacho to work, ended up putting in a small 8krpm autometer tacho. I have not heard of anyone getting a mk2 tacho to work with a 7mgte, digital or otherwise. My speedo tends to bounce around at around 70kph, apart from that seems about 5% out at 100kph according to an auto engineer. Don't have an auto, have a stock cruise unit, but not installed at the mo. 14psi should go great, pretty much at the upper limit for efficiency on the turbo tho. I put down 170kw at the wheels at 11psi, so 14 should be over 200.
I think the main problem with the tacho is that the 5m is single coil, whereas the 7mgte is multicoil. I've not been able to compare outputs from either, but there must be something that the digital tacho cannot interpret.
