well it really depends on what the manufacturer specifies...
they usually variate it a bit so u can choose pending if u want performane or longer life... yet they still point out the recommended one
remember its not JUST viscosity ....i forget what its called but u gotta get the right age thing for your car.....like some oils are for cars built from 84-88 ....then one is for 92-96 etc
