If you dont have time, get someone else to do it for you, yes it can be done, but you're better off doing the research so you dont end up with 2 tonnes of scrap metal! Cos it takes lots of time.
However, it is a straight forward swap if you get the right parts/wiring diagrams, but i'm not sure we can offer much help on the US type of cressida's.
