Another option is to unscrew the cold start injector form the manifold (plug the manifold with a rag), get a glass jar and place the injector so that it sprays into the jar. Get a mate to crank the motor and see if the CS injector is working.
I'm not sure how the 18RGEU setup works, do they also use an Air Bypass Valve?
