When i was rebuilding my MA61, i got the front bar re-conditioned, they basically weld in new sections if any are missing, and fix any rips. Cost about $250 and it comes back in primer, tho u can get it resprayed for u. Check out the yellow pages for places in melb, not sure about geelong, heaps of them round tho.
