Well I didn't see this coming. I found out that the wire i thought went to cold start injector was not it at all. after fiddling around i found it. and got things going. but it only started when things warmed up, (around lunch time). Drives fine after you start it. But was a bit weak in places. Now i know why!
It did the same thing again the next morning. Got RACQ out to have a good look over. I was going to ring around and find some one to tune it properly as soon as it got going again. Anyway the bloke tried a few things and then took a look at the suction through the air intake. Very weak!!
He did a compression test and it had nothing
So I guess that would explain why it won't start in the morning. and will when it warms up. Time to take it off the road again and rebuild it. Serves me right for trying to do it on the cheap.
