Being orignally from Tassy I'm a big Targa fan (my dear old Nan from Devonport cuts the daily newspaper clipping out of the local paper and sends them up to me during Targa.) She doesn’t understand Targa has a website.
Ha Ha........ hows that for a petrol head.
Anyway my brother tried to enter his 79 Ford Escort a few years ago. It was knocked back due to the fact it wasn't an RS2000. The fact he's spent a small fortune on it, he had the entry money and it's in immaculate condition didn't mater! Targa is expensive and really a game for the rich and famous. Tasmania has other similar events held each year but without the Targa big bucks and wank.
Here's the mighty Escort in the "Tasmanian Examiner Challenge" a few years ago. An event very similar to Targa and just as much fun.
