Re: 1JZ Injectors

Why are you replacing the injectors? If you are using stock turbo’s you will not max out standard injectors. Replacing them with 2J injectors will just make your car run rich right throughout the rev range and give you over fuelling problems at idle and use considerable more petrol on boost. It will not give you any more power.
Closed loop will only adjust the injector pulse at idle and light cruise and even then, only to a certain degree. Our experience has shown that at idle, the computer will not pull enough fuel out to prevent plug fouling.
If you have upgraded to a single turbo then you may have a reason for needing more fuel but my advice is to check the duty cycle before swapping injectors. At the end of the day, any serious turbo mod will also need either an interceptor module, modified ECU (Mines for example) or a full aftermarket system to be effective.
