LTX12 has -six ignition outputs (six coils @ sequential fire)
-six injector outputs, six injectors sequential
LTX8 has - 4 ignition outputs, can run an 8cylinder in waste spark. That's what i'm running on the 7MGTE.
You can tune with handset or laptop, laptop is easier.
The "X" stands for inbuilt igniters, which are great.
I found whilst wiring up the 1J the factory igniter is running them in wastespark anyway even though there are six individual coils.
So going to the Microtech immediately doubles your coil charge time and hence the flux collapse in the primary side of the coil making a more powerful spark accross the plug.
