Benny,

Mate there is a search option at the Top right of the forums type 2TG and have a read of the old threads there is alot of info already contained within these pages.

55MM Webers are TOO BIG ! I don't think they are, they are ! You want a good set of 45mm or 48mm at the most. Personally I would be using 45mm.

To get your 200HP you are looking at a pretty grumpy engine. The cams required to generate that sort of power mean you have no choice but to use Forged Pistons at around $1200 a set. There is simply not enough meat in the top of a cast piston to grind in Valve reliefs big enough for a Big lift cam.

Oh expext to pay around $700 for the cams to acheive this.

If you getting Forged pistons anyway you may as well get some extra CC's out of it Personally I recomend a 3.5mm overbore. The bore and hone will cost you around $140

Use the 2TGEU rods if you have them and if you think your likely to Rev the nuts of it (You will Up To Something ) Then I'd strongly consider getting them Shot peened Linished and end to end balanced. That should cost you around $300+ dollars. Before you get that done of course get the crank and rods Crack tested for around $80.

Crank from a 3T-C is fine and for piece of mind you can get it Nitrided but you probably don't have to. Expect to pay around $350 for the nitriding and up to $150 for the crank. A crank Grind will set you back around $130 so try and get a good one.
While we are on the crank you will need the flywheel and Crank doweled for that sort of Power (Or they will part company) the doweling including pins will be about $70

A complete engine balance is definatly necessary and must be done right. That should set you back about $200.

New timing Chain and Guides are very costly. A complete factory set will definatly make a dent in your wallet. New chains are a bare minimum and will prolly cost you around $80 - $100

New Bearings and welsh plugs etc will prolly be around $200 (Non Genuine) and the Gasket set should slug you around the $200 mark as well.

Head work is a whole seperate ball game and can be quite costly depends what you do as to what your up for.

I know I have prolly forgotten alot of stuff so I'll try answer anyother questions you have.

I would persoanlly advise against Full race spec but its your car so I'll leave it to you. Full Rally spec on the other hand..... Smile

Hope that helps,
