(ie. those that concentrate on form/function over price considerations). You'll find that, almost to the last car, they are RWD or AWD. A notable exception is the Volvo and Saab products, although I think they are biased to the Safety market (ie. less "spirited" driving with a tendency to understeer etc). I had the FWD Vs RWD debate with my father some years ago (he drove a Mitsubishi Verada then; drives a V6 Vectra now), he came down on the side of the FWDs. (I laughed at him... all in good spirits, mind you!) As for me, I have 2 cars, both Toyotas, both running non-standard engines, and both RWD... I just think that driving, suspending AND steering is too big an ask. Additionally, FWD was introduced for no other reason than economics. ie. they are cheaper to produce. It was NOT a question of a performance benefit, which it isn't. My 2c. [Report message to a moderator]
