Yes, Norbie your right. The line I'm talking about is the S bend that goes around right next to the actual PS pump. There would be little cooling effect there ('specially with the turbo/exhaust being so close!).

Its the line that goes from the bottom of the pump (the pressure line) to the rack. Thats why in my first post I thought it would be a pressure equaliser of some sort.


I think at the moment I'll see if I can get it made to go straight to the rack, if not, then I'll get the S bend re-done.

It still does go through the front of the engine, so it'll be cooled there.
