Well if you get an engine package for $1500 i assume you will be staying auto.
The engine will bolt straight in. But thereis going to be expenses of much more than $1000 especially if you want someone else to do it for you.
You will need:
intercooler: $300-$400
Plumbing for intercooler $300-$400
Dump pipe and exhaust $300-$1000 depending on how much is done.
Flywheel reground $??
Pay someone to wire up the engine $900 im guessing (sideshow perhaps)
New air filter $100-$200
Replace belts, filters, oils $200
oh and the actually pulling out and swapping over of engines as well will be charged at labur rates.
