a couple of things.. from the pics it looks like you could move the makeshift mount up a bit... is the cable between the mount and the fork horizontal?, if not move it up and that will give ya a little more... also what is space like on the passenger side of the gearbox? you could just change the engine mounts a bit to move the whole engine/gearbox across to the passenger side.... even 1cm will give you a lot more turning anothe roption again is to tile the engine toward the passeneger side a bit more to rotate the makeshift mount higher... hmm, so i reckon if the makeshift mount is not horizontal, make it so (or a little higher) then take off the motor mounts and unbolt the gearbox mount and shift the engine (with pulley or hoist ) around a bit to try and get more space there... you should have 10 or 15mm to play with at least... if you were in sydney i'd offer to bring it around and we could weld then mounts up then and there..... doh.. good luck, Cya, Stewart [Report message to a moderator]
