I have come to the conclusion that Monroe Gts aren't quite good enough with my regular lowered King Springs. They (and kyb) are recommened by Kings with their springs, but I don't feel the Monroe Gts control them enough (they were fine w/ stock springs, if a little soft) Anyway, I rang the suspension place to price an upgrade. They said if I didn't like the Monroes, then I'd have to go with something like Konis or KYBs. Konis make yellows..... at $880 the set! (165 each rear, 275 each front). At that price, they arn't even externally adjustable. He said KYBS would be good, but they didn't make a single-tube for my car. Dual tube KYBS wouldn't really be any stiffer than my Monroes. Bilsteins would likely be more expensive again than Konis. Tokicos aren't generally available in Australia. I haven't looked at Kmac yet as their online form doesn't work.
