Wed, 26 June 2002 11:27 good choice in motor mate!!! i just installed 3T-GTE in my AE86 and had a similar problem! i use a haltech ecu and i found that my symptoms were similar, the problem was a bad earth to the injector,ignters and dizzy. all are TRD items. the problems were that the earth was on the chassis, the alternator was sending a positive pulse into the chassis which made the earth into a positive charge , therefore confused the ecu. check ur chassis charge and make sure it isnt putting out positive reading? this positive charge can be caused by numorous things like a fucked battery, incorrect wiring to audio equiptment, and mine was a fucked headlight re wiring job by a local (dodgy) auto electrician!!!!!(didnt know he was dodgy till that time though) hoope this helps u out!!!
