I've just been to the NSW RTA website and pulled this info of it FYI. I had previously looked this up for my own benefit and thought I got an actual minimum clearance in millimetres but this time this is what I found. ==> Page 6 of the RTA's Vehicle Standards Information Sheet No.6 states under the heading SUSPENSION that "... the following suspension modifications are not acceptable: ... d) fitting any additional components or altering the suspension height so that any part of the vehicle other than a wheel or tyre can contact the road in the event of a tyre deflation. ..."
