JDM hachi Regular Location: was adelaide now newcastle Registered: February 2003	Re: Removal of sound deading Tue, 03 June 2003 01:20 the sound deadening in my ae86 came up quite easily on the floor areas but was a bit harder under the rear seat. i used a screwdriver to prise it up and it chips away ok without any heat. a note of warning though DO NOT PULL UP THE DEADENING FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT FLOOR since the exhaust flows along this side passengers tend to get a bit annoyed when they have to hold their feet off the floor on long trips!!! removal will save a bit of weight, but not that much, i did it so i could paint the floor [Report message to a moderator]
