i was lucky enough to buy my gze with the outlet pipe mod already done, mine faces foward, should not be too hard to have done at a metal/alloy fabricators, original outlet is cut off and sealed up.
currently in the process of redoing my pipe work, but i have a pipe running from each side, all really depends on what intercooler you are going to use.
