I reckon we should all run round our motors with a can of WD40 and spray on every conceivable joint and pipe and see if that has any effect.
On a lighter side, I was taking the gearbox out last night, and holding up the motor by the engine hook near the intercooler, as I was getting the hoist to take the weight, I heard that distinctive sound of metal fins being crushed by the hook.
So lets hope I didn't poke a hold in my intercooler! (Fingers crossed!)
