if your car ran well before, and now it doesn't it looks to be the throttle body, like i said before it solved my problem, idle control cant work if the internal galleries (which are alternately open and shut by the idle control solenoid) are blocked. im willing to bet FLYNSX a sixpack on this one!, i have an evo lancer front mount and 12psi pulley, with the standard map sensor computer, it now runs fine.
to properly clean the throttle body you must take it off the engine, the reason it gets dirty is through all the crank case blow by gases entering the inlet before the throttle, carrying with it a bit of oil, this oil will build up and eventually block internal passages casusing the affore mentioned idle problem. good luck.
