The computer triggers the operation of the SC. Perhaps there is a bad connection that's stopping the sc clutch from engaging. There could also be a fault in the sc relay.

Are you sure the sc is not working? Have you got a boost guage? There could be many reasons why you have less power such as boost leaks, slipping belt, knock sensor, abv etc.
