yeppers, there seems to be a couple
the early 2T types use points/contact set (kettering style if you really wanna go there)
the 2tgeu uses a reluctor type with either the pickup and ignitor in the dizzy or the pickup in the dizzy and the ignitor externally.
my 2tgeu type on my 2t has the pickup/ignitor inside the dizzy so only + and - were required to go to the coil.
