pete im sorry but 1j thermostats are 92 degrees .OR SHOULD be im not sure what stampde on them but all teh 1j ive ever seen with a temp gauge open around 92 .
running them below this is not making more power but less .
supra gte is DEAD right i now run the Cressida at 95-100 degrees and and mid range torque has proven on the dyno plus to be ...MUCH fatter .
hotter engines do run better
and yes runing them colder makes them run rich .hot engine cold air ...now your talkin
