In a nutshell, the most obvious difference is the GEU is EFI while the G has twin Solex sidedraughts. The GEU has lower compression pistons (8.3:1 as opposed to 9.8:1), but it also has bigger valves and ports. The GEU cylinder head is actually the best one to have, so if you chuck in some high-compression pistons you get the best of both worlds!
