Sorry if I underestimated you mate, I didn't know you worked at Toyota... Don't the RAV4's have 2 diff's? Would they BOTH need to be LSD in that case? I'm not up on the workings of LSD diffs, only their by-product at the tyres... Any news on the GT-4 drivetrain similarities/heritage? Someone on the RAV4 forum (I think) told me that they have the same running gear, but I never got verification on this. Ok, so if it's the same block and head (the block being the important part), hell I'm no mechanic but the gearbox setup comes with stick, gear-housing, gears, gear-mounts, bell-housing and what else? Should they mate up in theory? Is there anyone else that would know for sure? Cheers. [Report message to a moderator]
