Apparently the standard rev limit on the 100kW is 7600RPM, but I find my tacho needle reads just over 7000rpm when I hit the cutout, but I think my tacho is dodgy.
The rev limit is controlled by ignition via the ECU, so unfortunately can't see any cheap way of overriding it, bar replacing the ECU.
Adjustable cam gears are probably not worth the effort running standard cams, best wait until you grab some aftermarket camshafts.
