The kevlar woofers in them, they had a batch made with the wrong glue that they were selling for $20 each (just the woofers) that apparently sold out in 3 days. I found a supplier that must have bought a heap of them, said he could sell me a pair for 44+16 postage. I have some Motorolla supertweeters (the oens jaycar USED to sell) lying around, and some crossovers, but I'm not sure how these or the ones they sell now will compare with the soft textile dome tweeters in the split set. I've always thought peizo tweeters were a bit harsh. My current speakers have silk dome tweetrs, and they sound lovely. [Report message to a moderator]
