the blue triangle, just cut a triangle out of blue contact from like your local office supplies store and stick it on the body near where the battery is, you should be able to buy clear contact from there aswell for the lights (you know the kind you cover books with)
as for the bonnet restraining device, you dont NEED bonnet pins, all i used was a bit of steel rope (think it was 2mm) and two eyelets from the local hardware store, bolted the eyelets in, so u have a piece of steel rope with like a loop in each end, then use a caribena (spelling?) like one of those rock climbing things to attach the two, should cost you about $15 to make. i think i bought 1.5m of steel rope
then all you do is loop it through part of the bonnet, and part of the car. (there should be enough gaps in the bonnet to loop it arond something)
