Hey Gremlin,

I think the reason you are not getting any pull from the SC is due to the fact that the engine is not firing properly and is unable to sustain and power int eh upper rev range. If you have dropped a plug or something then that would explain the lawn mower feel to it and probably the strong fuel smell.

I personally would inspect all your plugs and sparks...and get a socket to your exhaust manifold nuts and make sure they have not gone loose on you.
