Umm pretty well in the city, Hawthorne. 
Gonna go and visit a mate who is a diesel mechanic tomorrow and it will be getting a bit of elbow grease to say the least (not to mention a bloody good smacking with a hammer  )
So far it seems like only horror stories! I shudder to think the last time it was changed..might explain the slight noise if there is only a little oil left
