ytri No idea if they are interchangeable as I've not had one with a combo meter apart. I've had mine apart and it does have all the usual lights for ABS, TRC, PRND2, etc that is not applicable to my model and there was an empty area where the combo meter would normaly be as well as numerous wired sockets on the back that were not used on mine. If someone who buys a Soarer front cut just for the drivetrain puts the Digidash up for sale on the forum - i'd be keen to buy it just for a spare as they very expensive from wreckers should it fry.
