id disagree with local products not being up there - Id happily put a BA Xr8 or fairmont Ghia in the same bracket as a soarer - and im pretty sure V8 wise - that the ford would have more torque - but less revviness given the nature of jap V8's ..
they diod a comparison in Hi-PO imports of CV8 monaro Vs Soarer Gt v8 - of course the Soarer won the comparison , but not by much.
