u mean fitting central locking into a sprinter? of coz! You can find universal kits at most of the car electronic store.
the only diff that bolt into place of the aussie spec sprinter is the jap spec diff.
To get any other diff fit into a sprinter, you need to mod the diff. And it's cost around 1.5k - 2k including the diff i guess.
There's someone in brisbane selling a Commodore LSD rear ready to fit into a sprinter for 1.6k.
as for the 2zz-ge corrola 1.8L engine, it's the same as the new celica engine. i am afraid this engine will not bolt onto any rwd gearbox. And becoz it's really new, the price will be so expensive. If you have that kind of money, and would like to go thru all these hassles...there are loads of better engine than this one...for example...
Turbo: SR20DET, CA18DET, 13BT, 1GGTE, 3SGTE..
N/A: 3SGE(Beams), SR20VE, or the ultimate F20C
And all these engine will have a existent gearbox to go with it.
I don't know how hard to get a gearbox to fit into the 2zzge, but i would think that all the above conversion is more powerful, less money(except the s2000). And more parts to mod and fix as they are not that new.
