Yhis situation really confusues me... I guess if Toyota are serious, they must have had words with someone at CAMS...
You see, with the experimental class (let's not call it Group G...), if you win an event, and want to be in the running for the Championship, I thought that you would have to move to a Group N car.... supposedly the only people who could run the 'modified' cars were those not on the National List posted by CAMS at the start of the season...
I will tell you now, there is no way in Hell that Bates will be running a Corolla with GT4 running gear in Group N. The rules for Group N require a few more than one or two versions to be made.... road-going cars... etc. etc.
I'd love to see the Corolla there, but I can't see how it can fairly run, especially in the hands of someone like the Master....
Unless Toyota have done a deal with the Devil (CAMS)...
Oh, and you won't see the WRC cars back until International events... why run a WRC if you can (a) run Group N, and (b) can't score points....
