well, 100hp is pretty realistic with sensible mods and won't make it a pig on the road... above that and you start to need to do some extra things to make the valve train survive.....

full race motors go up to around 150hp..

whatever you do, you can only try to increase the volumetric efficiency as cloe to 100% as possible. same goes for any engine... the bottom line is that there is a theoretical limit on how much torque a 1.3L motor can make NA, and you want to get as close to that as possible in your chosen rpm range and still have it fun and driveable.
