So I need to ask what I should do. Anyway, when my car is started up and its cold...if I try turn the steering wheel, makes a squeek noise. Today I decided to find out what was causing the noise...so I got my sister to turn the wheel so I could check to see what was happening. Found out that when she turned the wheel heaps (loud squeek) the belt (I pressume ps belt) would move - I think due to the fan turning the belt and the pulley thing would stay still. Then with the wheel centred and not moved, it would turn as per normal. The steering works perfectly fine when the car is warm and can even do a perfect full turn...only happens when the car is cold. I figure the belt is like loose or something, but it seems ok. What could the problem be??? Thanks. [Report message to a moderator]
