feral4mr2 Thanks for all the info but I didnt get to reed it untill tonight as went off early in morning to pull the dead 4AGE out , Anyway I decided to pull out the motor and leave the box in , I have access to a 4 post hoist so that makes things a lot easer , I put it up on the hoist and undun every thing and pulled it out through the bottom , The 4age may be a light motor but when standing under a hoist ( there were two of us ) and pulled the motor off the box the weight is a lot heaver when it just drops out and you have to hold it above your head and then try to lower it down , Anyhow we then decided to put the other motor ( 4AGTE )in through the top and was easyer than puttin in a rearwheel drive motor so in and out from the top is the way to go ( using an engine crane ) .
