I assume by usual 7M things he means doing everything u can do avoid a blown head gasket....cause the 7m is very prone to doing so
Such as:
-Retorque the head to 74ft/lbs as Paul said above (some ppl replace the bolts with something else aswell dont they ?)
-Replace the gasket with something special, im sure Paul can recommend one
-Use the red toyota coolant.....just go to toyota and ask for the red toyota coolant.....theyll know which one your talking about
- properly warm up and cool down your engine each drive
