Rob,

If the head gasket's gone you won't need to take the Engine out.
Just take the Head off.

Buy a new Head Gasket from Toyota, get the head cleaned up, and bolt it back on.

You will need to know the Torque specs for the Head Bolts too.

Haynes Manual would probably have this info.
