I've been talking to a clutch shop about it, but the problem is they only know models of cars, not gearboxes..
So I can't say to them I need a clutch that fits a 3SGTE engine and W55 gearbox. They need me to say a GT4 engine and a eg. SA63 gearbox. So thats where we've become stuck.
I need to either find the spline teeth and od, or tell them the car the gearbox is out of.. They say the SA63 celica has 20 teeth on the spline, most other sources say the W55 has 21 teeth... So without pulling my gearbox out of the car and counting the splines im a bit stuck.
Pretty confident it is 21 teeth, which means a SA63 clutch doesn't fit. But might mean the GT4 clutch will (assuming it fits inside the bellhousing), which if you go off SA63 measurements it wont.
Anyone else out there know what configuration is needed?
