The new prototype rules act as the following:
a) a nominated car has to be put to CAMS for Homologation with CAMS only ie can't run in FIA run events.
b) two classes: 4WD and 2WD
c) the car has to use engine and drivetrain from and existing production vehicle.
d) they do have a power cap for the 4WD turbo's close to a group N car. The 2WD's have even less restrictions and no power cap.... basically their thought is a 2WD would never beat a 4WD, especially on Gravel...a Tarmac event could cause an upset in my eyes.
