THere is a place, located in the castle hill region, named "THe Bronzing Studio".
They will electroplate ANYTHING! 
Look in www.yellowpages.com.au and search for them. It's not exactly cheap, but its VERY effective, and they will seriously plate ANYTHING. They have done everything from g-strings, to door handles, to hubcaps...... talk to them.
