You shouldnt need gasket sealant on any part of the head gasket, unless you're using a copper one....

I emailed a comlete list of 3TGTEU engine assembly torque settings from the factory toyota manual to Max (Nark) months ago for hosting in the Articles section of the Toymods webpage, but he doesnt seem interested in sharing it Smile I'll see if I can find them for you.
